Great idea. I would really like to set up a home studio now and this sort of advice would be a huge help.

Hope you can review the best software soon.

Thanks Paul, I'm just getting going with my new MacBook Pro, and I'm starting to experiment with Logic Express. As you know, for now, I recommend Finale, but Notion seems to be a real up and coming player in the Notation arena. I don't know about that software, I saw band-in-a-box but I'm happier with paper and pencil, staff paper, and my guitar...
